Equine Art

We were visiting the Kuipers at their Tahmoor stud on a fine spring morning. The grass lush and green and the Shire horses

full of energy. Seeing a group of these magnificent animals running around the paddock is a sight to behold. Their feet as big

as dinner plates, these heavy weight horses were thundering around.  At the same time their exuberance made them leap into mid

air as if they were light as a feather.

This painting was done from photographs taken on this fine morning. It is done in oil on canvas and measures 140cm x 60cm. It is unframed

but ready to hang. It is still for sale at Au$2500
